Spinal Cord Injury Ontario is built on philanthropy.

When our founders returned from World War II, 75 years ago, they rejected institutionalization as their only future. Together with clients, donors and volunteers they created a vibrant organization that grew into SCIO.

We honour their memory every day as we work to increase the health, mobility and options of those living with a spinal cord injury across the province.

We connect people who want to change the world with those who can.
